What a Fulfilling Day!

Today was nothing short of magical! ✨ I feel incredibly inspired and rewarded after a day filled with creativity, connection, and powerful storytelling. A huge shoutout to Ms. Xandra Ramos (President of Anvil Publishing,) the Anvil Team, and the NBS College team for orchestrating such a remarkable event. It’s days like these that remind me why I fell in love with writing in the first place.

Special thanks to our workshop gurus, Ms. Claire Betita De Guzman, the bestselling author of Huê City and Girl Meets World, and Ms. Noreen Capili, the brilliant mind behind Ang Probinsyano and Walang Forever, was a dream come true. Your insights and guidance during the sessions were invaluable! Ms. Claire, your mantra, “Make Writing Your Life,” is a motto I’ll carry with me moving forward. Ms. Noreen, your work has touched many lives, including my mom’s. Watching Walang Forever with her in the cinema is a cherished memory. Thank you for creating such meaningful stories! I left the workshop with new skills, a renewed sense of purpose, and a fire in my belly to keep writing.

A Heartfelt Reunion

One of the most unexpected highlights of the day was reconnecting with Yvette Tan. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since she wrote, “Trust the process. Nurture your creativity. The world is waiting,” in my copy of her book. Sharing personal stories with her over lunch was such a meaningful surprise. I can’t wait to continue our conversation about our mutual love for the supernatural and explore the potential for a future collaboration. Kiliggg! 🐈‍⬛​​
