​When people believe in you, showing up and giving your best comes with responsibility, and I am truly grateful for this beautiful opportunity. Naga City has warmly welcomed me, and I’m so happy to be here. The passion, intelligence, synergy, and energy are contagious!

 

First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to Sir Paolo Sibal and CentralBooks for believing in me and for being the reason I’m here at the Third Bikol Book Festival.  A heartfelt thank you to the amazing Kristian Sendon Cordero and Savage Mind: Arts, Books, Cinema for being so accommodating and ensuring the success of this event! Beyond knowledge and exposure, I’ve gained a wonderful mentor and a friend. Thank you, Ma’am Neni Sta Romana Cruz. You are a guiding light at this event, someone I deeply admire and will continue to look up to. You’ve become a motherly mentor I’ll always treasure. Thank you to the National Book Development Board - Philippines, the NBDB Team, and the Third Bikol Book Festival for creating and sustaining these important platforms, especially for local authors.
